Radisson Blu Guwahati hosts its Annual Fruit Mixing Ceremony

As the countdown to Christmas begins, Radisson Blu Guwahati hosted its annual “Fruit Mixing Ceremony” on November 25th, 2023, enveloping the air with the enchanting fragrance of holiday cheer. A large number of people participated along with the hotel staff in this event. To make the event more fun, the staff had hidden 10 silver nuggets among the ingredients for the participants to find. 

Adding a gourmet touch to the festivities, Nayanjyoti Saikia, the esteemed Winner of MasterChef India 7th season, graced the occasion, elevating the celebratory spirit. Reflecting on the event. Nayanjyoti shared, “Participating in Radisson Blu Guwahati’s Fruit Mixing Ceremony has been an absolute delight. It’s heartening to see communities come together to celebrate traditions and create lasting memories. The festive spirit here is truly contagious!”

Originating in England, Christmas pudding, also known as plum pudding, holds a special place in the hearts of those partaking in this time-honoured ceremony. Prepared five weeks before Christmas, on or after the Sunday before Advent, each family member or child takes part in stirring the pudding, making a heartfelt wish for the season.
