Tea is the most widely consumed beverage after drinking water (Best Toppers). So, on the occasion of International Tea Day, we want to present to you some of the benefits of this beautiful drink. From drinking to deodorizer, here is a list of positive effects of this golden drink and the heavenly plant.

Tea has the highest number of takers in the world. Justly so because it seems of have quite a few health benefits and few of them listed below.

  1. High in Antioxidants, meaning it helps the body get rid of free radicals.
  2. Perfect amount of caffeine, not too much not too low. Meaning that it keeps you awake while keeping the chances of addiction low.
  3. Helps in digestion by encouraging proper digestion.
  4. Zero cholesterol meaning healthy food. By itself, it does not have cholesterol and even helps in the removal of bad cholesterol from the body. This reduces the chances of heart attacks.

Used up tea bags have another special property. It can remove bad odors from closed spaces. So if you have a smelly pair of shoes then try placing one or two used up bags in them overnight. You can also do the same for a damp cupboard or book-stand.
