Fat Belly treats Food Delivery Partners on Rongali Bihu

Fat Belly, one of the largest restaurant chains of the state had decided to treat the delivery agents working in the region on the occasion of Rongali Bihu.

Rongali Bihu is one of the main festivals of the Assamese community. Also called Bohag Bihu, it marks the beginning of the Assamese calendar year. It is celebrated to welcome the season of spring in the region. From exchanging gifts to the performing of traditional Bihu music and dance are all parts of this celebration.

The delivery partners forms the backbone of all food delivery services. These boys and girls work day in and day out to make sure that the customers get their food in time. They also work very hard despite adverse weather conditions and unpredictable traffic.

The Fat Belly group decided to honor these partners on the occasion. The on duty delivery partners were all felicitated with a traditional Assamese Fulam Gamocha. This was followed by by lunch in the restaurant premises. Nearly sixty partners from both Zomato and Swiggy were felicitated during this event. The partners also expressed their gratitude for the celebration in the Commerce College Outlet.
