Aminia, the popular food brand from Kolkata has opened its first outlet of Northeast India in Guwahati. And Assamese heartthrob Zubeen Garg inaugurated the same today.
Executive Chef of the brand Chef Sarafat Ali was present for the launch. He will be staying here for a few days to make sure that food remains up to the quality and quantity standards. Aminia Guwahati will have a sitting capacity of 72 people at a time. Located in Lachit Nagar, this eatery did a soft launch today and it will open for all guests from day after tomorrow.
Biryani of different types are among the most favorite food choices of Guwahatians. And Aminia’s expertise is the Kolkata style biryani. Apart from that, they have a wide range of Mughlai and North Indian cuisines in their menu. They serve a range of starters, main course and desserts alongside some quick eat options as well. And this is a brand managed outlet and not a franchise.
Representing the All Assam Restaurant Association, Chef Atul Lahkar and restaurateur Manjita Kalita Chowdhury also visited the outlet late today. Expressing their happiness, they said that the biryani lovers of the city will now have a new option to consider. They also mentioned that the eateries of the state are getting ready to provide the best food and service to the consumers during the upcoming Durga Puja season.
