Cooking Competition Organised among RBI Staff and their Families

A cooking competition was arranged for the staff of Reserve Bank of India’s Guwahati office and their family members today.

The event was organised by the Reserve Bank Staff Recreation Club, Guwahati. And more than thirty participants took part in the event. The competition was hosted in the premises of the Reserve Bank of India, Guwahati.

A large variety of dishes were presented infront of the judges of this competition. Traditional dishes from Assam to Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra to West Bengal found their way to the competition. Several fusion dishes were also presented.

The Regional Director of RBI, Sanjeeb Singha was also present during the event along with several other senior officials of the organisation. He expressed his happiness on the huge number of participants as well as the variety of dishes presented.

The competition was judged by three judges. Popular food blogger and writer Pompi Sarmah Khaund, journalist Preety Priyadarshinee and food expert Sisir Kalita were the judges. Three winners each were chosen from the Vegetarian, Non Vegetarian and Dessert categories. An additional judges’ choice was also declared for each category. But the star of the show was the Master Chef of RBSRC Guwahati, 2022.

Secretary Sanjay and treasurer Rupam of the club ensured the smooth conduct of the cooking competition along with their team.
