The newly made golden dome of the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati was unveiled on Thursday by the temple authorities.The unveiling was made in a low key ceremony inside the temple premises.
The newly gold plated main dome of the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati was unveiled by temple authorities on Thursday morning.
19 kilograms of gold was donated for the dome by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) owned by Mukesh Ambani. The construction of the dome began in the month of October. As per reports, the golden plating of the dome has been done by artisans and engineers arranged by RIL.
