Manipur modifies Regulations on Entry Without Testing

The Govenment of Manipur has issued a order pertaining to the allowance of entry into the state. The previous regulations regarding the same had allowed people who have taken all the doses of any of the recognized Covid-19 vaccines can enter the state without compulsory testing or any Covid-19 negative test report.

The new regulations state that Manipur will continue to allow completely vaccinated people to enter the state without mandatory testing or any Covid Negative certificate subject to the date of final dose of Covid-19 vaccine. The person must have completed atleast fifteen days post vaccination to avail this benefit. A vaccination certificate indicating the exact details of the person and the vaccination dates must be produced at the entry point of the state.

This facility will be available at the Bir Tikendrajit International Airport and entry check points at Mao and Jiribam in Manipur .

The state of Manipur has just come out of a ten days complete lockdown, owning to the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the state. Previously Assam had also modified its orders regarding Covid-19 testing making it compulsory at all the entry points of the state following the spike in the number of cases .
