Pohor, the annual photography exhibition and competition has begun accepting entries from today. The submissions have to be done on the Pohor website.
This year will see the 10th edition of this annual event. Also it is the 3rd time that the submissions are happening online. The first seven editions of Pohor were only held in print form where the physical copies were exhibited. The next two versions saw the event in the online form.
Cash prizes worth Rs. 50,000 are up for grabs this year. Certificates will also be given out to all deserving participants of this competition. Apart from these, several other recognition will also be given for great photograpers.
Participants can submit their entries from today onward and the last day of accepting entries will be the 10th of August. And this year’s categories of the competition are Northeast India, Portrait, Nature, Street stories, Travel and Fine arts. Each participant can submit upto three images per category for the competition. Both Indians and foreigners interested in photography can put in their submissions. It is also open to both professional and amateur photographers. Only requirement to be met the technical requirements of the image.
After submissions, experts will choose the pictures to be exhibited as will as the winners.
