NFR to run Examination Special Trains

The Northeast Frontier Railways has decided to run examination special trains to accommodate the people who want to appear for the RRB NTPC.

Two examination special trains will be run from Northeast Frontier Railways. One departs from Dibrugarh for Kolkata and the other from Kolkata for Dibrugarh. These trains will also have a list of additional stations to help examinees from smaller locations. They are Simaluguri, Mariani, Dimapur, Diphu, Lanka, Kamakhya, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbihar, New Jaipaiguri, Katihar, Naugachia, Khagaria Jn, Monghyr, Sultangarh, Bhagarpur, Kahargaon, Sahibganj, Bharharwa Jn, Rampurhaat, Barddhaman Jn and Bandel Jn.

Train number 05972 will leave from Dibrugarh at 7:25 PM of the 8th of August and reach Howdah by 12:30 PM of the 10th. Train number 05971 will leave Howdah 2:35 PM of 12th and reach Dibrugarh by 5:45 AM of the 14th of August. The stops on this route are New Tinsukia, Lumding, Chaparmukh, Guwahati, Nalbari, Barpeta Road Bongaigaon and Kokrajhar. Each of these trains will have one three tier AC coach, fifteen sleeper coaches, two second class general coaches. It will also contain one brake cum luggage car and a SLRD.

Similarly train number 05672 will leave from Agartala on the 9th and reach Guwahati on the 10th of August. And for return, train number 05671 will leave Guwahati on the 12th to reach Agartala on the 13th. This train will have four sleeper and for second class coaches for the people appearing for this exam. This examination special train will have stops in Dharamnagar, Badarpur Jn, Lumding Jn, Hojai and Chaparmukh Jn.
