Local Utpaat is the latest addition to the action – comedy genre of the Assamese film industry. It is due release next week, that is on the 13th of May and the title track for the same was released recently by the team.
It is an Assamese rap and has been well-received by the fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of the film. Vocals and lyrics for the Local Utpaat rap was done by Kool-D and Akashdeep Gogoi mixed and mastered the song. The video of utpaat hip-hop was choreographed and directed by Poonam Gurung who also plays a lead role in the movie.

Written, edited and directed by Kenny Basumatary, Local Utpaat is the fourth feature film from the Local Kung Fu and Heavy Budget team. This film also stars Sarmistha Chakravorty, Tony Deori Basumatary, Himanshu Gogoi, Kaushik Nath, Mrigendra Konwar, Bibhuti Bhushan Hazarika and Yatharth Agnihotri in various important roles.
Apart from promising to be a laugh-riot for everyone, it also aims to bring out gender equality prevalent in the region in a very natural manner.
