Quick Pork Fry with Bamboo Shoot

Pork is one of the most favorite meat types across the region and there are hundreds of recipes with the same. And the one mentioned here is a quick pork fry cooked by Alex Daimari.

This is a simple pork fry which takes very limited time and very few resources. The following are the ingredients necessary for this recipe.

  • Pork – 1/2 a kilogram.
  • Mustard Oil.
  • Chilies – according to taste.
  • Garlic – according to taste.
  • Salt – according to taste.

The recipe :

  • The first step is to boil the pork.
  • Next we need to heat a small amount of oil in a pan or kadhai.
  • Add the boiled pork to the pan and start frying.
  • Continues stirring the pork till the fat starts to melt.
  • Add the salt to the and continue stirring.
  • Add the chili flakes or green chilies or ghost pepper as per the taste and choice.
  • You can also add red chili powder for a nice color.
  • Add about a cup of water and mix properly before adding the the water from fermented bamboo shoot.
  • Once the water reduces, add the bamboo shoot and stir to mix.
  • Lastly add the crushed garlic and keep cooking till the water evaporates.

And now the pork fry is ready to be served. It goes very well as a appetizer with alcohol, a snack or as a side dish with a meal.
