The Assam Skill Development Mission or ASDM was formed to train and polish the youth of the state to gain proficiency. The main aim is to make the boys and girls of the region industry ready. It also encourages and trains the youth in entrepreneurship and specific skills so that they can create their own endeavors and empower others as well.

Training Partners

In order to achieve the maximum possible outreach and the enable the most effective training, ASDM works with a large number of Training Partners across the state. Each training partner can take up one or more courses based on their resources.

A training partner can be any registered organisation with the prescribed resources at their disposal. Resources in case means classroom facilities, trainers and placement procedures. Courses Offered by ASDM

A variety of courses are offered by the ASDM across the state through the registered training partners. A few of them are listed as follows.

  • Beauty and Wellness: The idea is to cater to the growing market of health and grooming in the country. This course is aimed to achieve sufficiency in the list of trained professionals in this sector. Details of this course are available here.

  • . Hospitality – Food and Beverage Services : Another very booming sector in the modern day India is the hospitality department. And the food and beverage section of hospitality requires a lot of expertise. Here are the details of this course.

Eligibility for the Courses

The eligibility criteria for the above mentioned courses is 12th pass. The age should also be a minimum of 17 years. A detailed list of criteria per course can be availed here.
