Camping Locations near Guwahati : Fun, with Social Distancing

The COVID-19 global pandemic has changed the tourism scenario everywhere, and Assam is no exception. A major section of the public who loved to travel and explore have now added an extra criteria to their requirements : COVID Protocols.

Once of the key points of self protection is to maintain a minimum physical distance from people. And this is the reason why more and more people are now avoiding crowded locations and looking for places with less people and proper amenities to spend time with their near and dear ones. The camping style of accommodation has solved this problem to a great extent. Camping, which was earlier confined mainly to events like Hornbill , NH7 Weekender, Ziro Music Festival, and the like, has now become a common affair. Another reason why people choose the camping option is because pets are generally allowed in these places unlike most of the hotels or resorts.

So Team Discover East has compiled a list of campsites near the city of Guwahati, where you can unwind yourself and have a good time.

Also because of the small distance, you can return back to the city in no time in case of any need or emergency.

Chanaka / Chandrapur

While some of them are located on the banks of the river, others have set tent in beautiful valleys with streams near them.
